We’re driving sustainability in our own operations by expanding renewable‑energy use, strengthening human‑rights due diligence, enhancing ESG reporting, electrifying our fleet, and pursuing reductions in Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

We are integrating sustainability across our value chain through partnerships that meet defined ESG criteria, solutions that reduce environmental impacts where applicable, green building practices, and social and environmental initiatives.

Workplace gender equality

Across Allianz Partners entities worldwide, the EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) certification process was first launched for our insurance business segment in 2021. By 2025, 83% of our certified entities had achieved the advanced EDGE Move level, as evidenced by EDGE assessment results at those entities, including indicators related to pay equity and promotion opportunities.

The sustainability performance of Allianz was once again awarded Prime status by ISS ESG Corporate Rating in 2025 (as of 17 October 2025).
