Equal opportunities for adolescents in Munich: Allianz Partners and the NO LIMITS! project

Under the theme "A Fair and Equal Starting Point for Young People", NO LIMITS! focuses on equipping participants with life skills and confidence. Through a series of weekly workshops, young participants gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, develop new competencies, and build confidence in their abilities.
Empowering youth through role models and mentoring

A key element of the program is its collaboration with relatable role models. These are not celebrities but real people with inspiring life stories, ambitions, and values, with whom participating youth have the chance to interact.

According to Markus Neumaier (CFO Office, Allianz Partners) and Paola Zadro (Head of CFO Office, Allianz Partners), the initiative’s mission is clear:

NO LIMITS! also provides support with academic and professional development, offering individual coaching and mentoring that empowers young people to take control of their futures.

Project insights and impact

In 2024, around 75 young individuals took part in the NO LIMITS! program, with 20 directly sponsored by Allianz Partners. Based on feedback, more than three-quarters of participants expressed satisfaction with the program, and nearly 85% would recommend it to others.

Further insights show that participants greatly enhanced their ability to identify personal strengths, while also reporting increased self-efficacy, confidence, and openness to new experiences. Project partners also found the workshops enriching, noting they felt they were making a meaningful contribution to society.

The workshops: A glimpse behind the scenes

An additional advantage of being a sponsor is that Allianz Partners colleagues can actively participate in the workshops, allowing them to both engage with the youth and experience these unique sessions for themselves. Led by inspiring individuals like Ali, a former professional boxer and coach at 1860 Munich, the workshops focus on topics such as self-confidence and conflict resolution through sports.

Creativity also plays a pivotal role in the NO LIMITS! workshops. After months of exploring their strengths, self-perception, and interpersonal skills, participants had the chance to express themselves artistically through a graffiti workshop led by professional artists. This focus on creative expression is particularly vital in the wake of the pandemic, helping young people process their emotions in a constructive way.

Allianz Partners: A commitment to social engagement
Between November and April of this year, 10 Allianz Partners volunteers participated in workshops, witnessing their transformative impact firsthand. Allianz Partners is deeply committed to social engagement and is proud to see its Munich-based colleagues seize the opportunity to get involved and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
