Ryan is an actuary with the Institute of Actuaries in Australia, passionate about leadership and making positive change while inspiring others to be their best versions.

Originally from South Africa, where he started his career, including consulting and managerial experience at Deloitte, being Head of Corporate Actuarial for the APAC region, the Head of Product & Underwriting for the Health Line of Business at Allianz Partners and now is the Finance Director for Allianz Partners Australia and New Zealand.

Ryan is a former TEDx speaker, United Nations Ambassador with a focus on entrepreneurship and education, and Regional Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Deloitte South Africa. Ryan has almost two decades of experience presenting and facilitating across multiple topics and disciplines, including, but not limited to, diversity and cultural awareness.

Finally, Ryan is happily married to his beautiful wife, heavily involved at his Church and enjoys watching rugby and cricket whenever possible and building large Lego sets.

Jason has been working as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer for Allianz Partners Australia since 2023 and is currently Acting COO for New Zealand and Australia.  He is also registered with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) as a Responsible Manger for Allianz Partners Australia.

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Jason has worked across banking, insurance, fintech and consulting sectors. He is a highly experienced Chief Risk Officer, with over 19 years of senior executive leadership experience focused on leading, transforming and optimising governance, risk and compliance functions.

Jason’s international experience spans more than 14 years across Asia, Europe and the Americas, where he has successfully navigated complex regulatory frameworks and diverse business operating environments. Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record of transforming and optimising risk strategies, processes and organisational cultures to deliver significant performance improvements.

Among his most notable career achievements is the establishment and leadership of an $80M risk and compliance management transformation program for the largest publicly listed General Insurer in the Australasia region.  He also played a leading role in the launch of a new digital financial services business in the United States of America, further demonstrating his expertise in driving large-scale transformation and innovation within highly regulated industries. 

As HR Country Lead for New Zealand and Australia, Shauna is HR Advisory to the Managing Director and Executive team, ensuring day-to-day HR operations run effectively.  Her scope spans across employee relations and industrial relations matters, performance managment, payroll, HR legal matters, workplace health and safety, local legislative and regulatory changes, implementation of global HR programs and services and country engagement topics. 

Shauna has been with Allianz Partners since 2020, but her HR career spans more than 20 years across several different disciplines.  Most of her experience comes from professional services in HR generalist and leadership roles. Shauna is considered a trusted and respected HR leader, and she is passionate about creating an engaging and positive experience for our people.
