Hans-Jörg Mauthe to lead Allianz Commercial in Germany

Allianz Group announced today that Hans-Jörg Mauthe will represent Allianz Commercial as Commercial Managing Director in Germany with immediate effect. Allianz Commercial is Allianz's new, integrated approach to corporate business for mid-sized and large companies. In this role, Mauthe will lead Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), which focuses on large  customers, and Allianz's local business in Germany for mid-sized companies under a unified approach. This is intended to simplify cooperation with customers and sales partners.

Mauthe will report to AGCS Chief Regions and Markets Officer Henning Haagen and to Ulrich Stephan, member of the Allianz Versicherungs-AG Board of Management responsible for corporate business. Hans-Jörg Mauthe, currently Regional Managing Director Central & Eastern Europe at AGCS,  has been with the Allianz Group for over 30 years in a variety of management positions. Prior to his current position, he was, among others, Regional Head of Market Management and Head of Liability Germany & CE at AGCS. In his 15 years with Allianz Versicherungs-AG, his positions included Head of Corporate Casualty and Head of Commercial Liability. Hans-Jörg Mauthe will retain his current responsibilities at AGCS until further notice.

Currently Regional Managing Director Central & Eastern Europe for AGCS, Hans-Joerg has been with Allianz Group for over 27 years in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to his current role, he held roles such as Regional Head of Market Management and Head of Liability Germany & CE for AGCS, and in his ten years with Allianz Versicherungs AG, his roles included Head of Corporate Casualty and Head of Commercial Liability.
